If you want a different Date that you put in comments put $C in the box. If you want the actual EXIF date/time put $T in the box. In that box check Add Overlay Text and click Settings. Use Advanced Options and click Set Advanced Options. Under JPG options set 100% and uncheck all the boxes. In the dialog that opens: Batch Conversion. Highlight the images you want and hit the “B” key. If you are going to use the actual date you can skip this step. Put the date in the form you want it as a comment. Right click on one of the highlighted images: JPG Loseless Operations > Set Comment to selected files. If you want the whole folder: Options > Select All. Hold the Ctrl key while you select the photos you want a certain date on. You can use the thumbnail options to make the thumbs larger if different images will have different dates and you want to see them better for decisions. Open an image in Irfanview and hit the “T” key. You probably don’t want EXIF in the new files if you are going to change the date as the original date will be available to anyone with a little knowledge, and you probably don’t want that deleted from the originals.
I would copy the files to another folder as Irfanview is going to put the date on the image and you might not want it on your originals. I’ll give you some instructions for Irfanview.
Olympus master plus download update#
Are you sure your CD is the same Master 2 version date as the download? They do update software and it might be worth a try.
